The University of Minnesota’s Board of Regents is now accepting applications for Student Representatives. The Student Representatives to the Board of Regents present the student voice to the Board, providing a unique perspective that assists the Board in its deliberations. Student representatives do this through semester reports and as non-voting members of the Board’s standing committees. There are eight Student Representatives in total, of which at least one must be a professional student. The professional student will also serve at the Secretary of the Regents for PSG, acting as a liaison between the Board and PSG.
The application will close on April 18. Applicants will be contacted by email within a week of the application closing detailing next steps. Those candidates selected to move forward will be asked to come in for a 30-minute interview with the selection committee. Learn more about the Board of Regents.
