The American Indian Student Cultural Center will be hosting our Annual Spring Powwow on Saturday, April 30th. If you are unfamiliar with the concept of powwows, they are American Indian cultural events that involve singing, dancing, and feasting. All good things! The main purpose of our powwow is to promote cultural diversity and to engage people of all backgrounds in learning about American Indian cultures and Indigenous ways of knowing. This year, we hope to expand our powwow on campus by reaching out to the diverse populations represented at the U. We hope that your group will take the time to consider being a part of the event by helping us to make it more effective in serving the broader student body and surrounding communities. Although, we would appreciate and recognize any form of collaboration, these specified partnerships would ensure the associated benefits. We would appreciate a response by Wednesday, April 27thThank You!
