Stressed out by school and other responsibilities? Take a break and see the biggest show on campus. For one day only, the circus returns to Coffman Memorial Union.
The Provost’s Committee on Student Mental Health, Boynton Health Service, along with many other University partners, are hosting Cirque De-Stress: Balancing Life, Juggling Responsibilities in the Great Hall of Coffman Memorial Union on Monday, Oct. 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Cirque De-Stress features performances by Circus Mojo on the hour starting at 10 a.m. Throughout the day you will see aerialists, high-wire walkers, clowns, jugglers and more! Between circus acts you can watch University student groups sing a cappella, drum and perform improv comedy. And during it all you can try out a slack line, ride a smoothie bike, snack on popcorn, learn about mental health resources and stress reduction and visit PAWS therapy animals – including Woodstock the therapy chicken.
The event is FREE and open to the public. We hope to see you at the circus!
