There are a number of certificates and minors which Humphrey students can pursue, through the Humphrey School as well as from other programs throughout the University. 
Students who are interested in research opportunities at the Humphrey School can get involved with one of the Humphrey Research Centers.
You can also keep up with news and opportunities with the different centers by following their blogs.
The Planning Student Organization is the representative board for MURP students at the Humphrey School. PSO plans networking, informational, and social events with input from students and resources from PASA. The American Planning Association (APA) provides a one-year student membership free of cost to students enrolled in planning programs. This membership provides access to resources and events which are directly relevant to the interests of MURP students. APA works closely with the MURP program to provide interesting and tailored networking and career development opportunities.
