The CVM Student Council Spring Grants applications are now open until March 25th at 11:59PM. The Student Council provides funding to current CVM students and student organizations to support events and activities that benefit the student body and foster greater learning. The maximum amount of funding awarded to an individual, group of students, or student organization will be determined after evaluation of interest. There is a total of $5,000 to be distributed this funding cycle, which will cover events that have occurred or will occur between December 1, 2015 – Dec 1, 2016.

Funding is not guaranteed to all applicants.  Applications must either provide direct educational, cultural, or professional benefit to the entire student body OR the individual or group applying for funding must complete a short presentation for the student body which represents the educational benefit of the funded event. Priority will be given to students who have not already received Student Council funding.

All funding decisions will be made by the Student Council. Before a funding decision is made, the individual or group requesting the funding may be contacted for further information regarding their application.

NOTE: Student Council would like to notify all students/organizations applying to grants that we will not always have funds available to give back to students. As this is the 2nd year that we are holding these applications, understand that they will not always be available and are not to be used for a reliable source of funding for any person/persons.
