The Second Session of Congress was held Thursday, October 22. During the meeting, Congress confirmed the eight Ambassador and four Supreme Court Justice nominees. A constitutional amendment that would have allotted an additional Congress Representative to councils with students on multiple campus was defeated. Congress approved nearly $8,000 in grant funding to PSG students and councils. Additionally, Congress approved two resolutions. The first resolution calls for university administrators to make student-centered decisions and engage in consultation with student government. The second resolution calls for the Department of Parking and Transportation to create a pilot program that would expand Paratransit Services to allow students with disabilities living within three blocks of campus to be picked-up or dropped-off at home.
