The Third Session of Congress was held on Tuesday, November 10. During this session, Congress unanimously confirmed the School of Dentistry Council’s Supreme Court Justice nominee, Nate Caple. The Representatives also unanimously approved an act that established policies and procedures for professional student councils submitting the annual fees application. An act calling for PSG to urge the Office of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity to drop the Student Conduct Code violation charges against members of Whose Diversity? that occupied Morrill Hall during a protest on February 9, 2014 was brought before Congress. The resolution was defeated 6-8-1. Congress approved 18 grants totaling $5,700, bringing the total amount of grant funding awarded to $25,555. Finally, the Representatives discussed the lack of representation for non-council professional students and determined that no change would be made to the current policy.
